Society of St. Vincent de Paul | Social Justice | About the Society of St Vincent de Paul, SVP Ireland, non-profit organisation, person-to-person contact, people in need, direct assistance: A key part of the Mission of SVP is to work for Social Justice – to advocate for change to policies and systems in the interests of people we are assisting. We analyse information arising from our work in local communities – including our local Conference visitation work - and specific Research about older people, lone parent families and other groups. The research, Case Studies and analysis help us to develop policy positions and make Submissions and representation to Government, Industry and Regulators on a range of issues. By both advocating on our own Campaigns, and by Working jointly with other organisations, we use our influence and experience to try and bring about a fairer and more just society for all. We specifically use the experience of members and those we assist to inform our annual Pre-Budget Submission to Government, and our Media work.?
